Open data

Everything published on the map is available as open data: download the full data set, or use the read-only API in your own tools.

Download the data

All published projects, in English and French, with locations. Files are generated on request, so they're always current.

Licence

The data is offered under the Open Government Licence – Canada. This licence is proposed and still to be confirmed by ITS Canada. When you use the data, include this attribution: Open Government Licence – Canada (proposed; to be confirmed by ITS Canada)

Contains information from the ITS Canada Project Map.

What's included

Only published projects are included. Contact details appear only when the submitter agreed to publish them. Imported records keep their source and any caveats from that source.

Follow new projects (RSS)

Get newly published projects in a feed reader, Outlook, Teams, Slack or a website's news widget. The feed lists the 50 most recent projects.

RSS feed of new projects

The feed accepts the map's filters, for example: /en/feed.xml?prov=on&cat=transit-technology

Show the map on your website

Partners can show this map inside their own web pages, filtered to their region or topic, with a short piece of code. Embedding works only on websites ITS Canada has approved. Ask ITS Canada to add your website.

You can also link to any view of the map: filter or zoom, then share its address. Open the map
